I wanted to learn this ABBA song and I thought I would film and show you how I learn all of my songs by ear. This song took me about 10 - 15 minutes to learn, some songs take 5 minutes and play them in one try, others take 30 minutes to an hour. My time learning a song by ear has definitely got faster since I started learning songs like this a couple years ago but the time they take also depends on how well I know a song and if I have heard many times before or not. I hope you find this video interesting and / or helpful. PS. This was recorded a couple months ago when I hadn’t got my new violin yet so that I why I am using my old one in the video!
